GB 31604.55-2023 aims to regulate the migration determination of isothiazolinone compounds in food contact materials and articles to ensure food safety. As people pay more attention to food packaging materials, the formulation of this standard fills the gap in the relevant field in China.
This standard provides two determination methods: high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). These two methods are respectively applicable to different types of food simulants, ensuring the comprehensiveness and accuracy of the detection.
