Water saving enterprises—Electrolytic aluminium industry (English Version)
GB/T 33233—2023 Water-saving Enterprises in the Aluminum Electrolytic Industry specifies the evaluation index system and requirements for water-saving enterprises in the aluminum electrolytic industry. The standard is applicable to the evaluation of water-saving enterprises in the aluminum electrolytic industry, and aims to achieve effective utilization and conservation of water resources through scientific management measures and technical means.
Standard dimensions | 2016 version requirements | 2023 version updates |
---|---|---|
Basic requirements | Domestic water and production water are metered and paid separately | Added water use indicators for deep purification of electrolytic flue gas, emphasizing the separate metering of three waters (domestic, production, purification) |
Management indicators | The management system needs to be scientific and reasonable | Added scoring requirements for water-saving technology transformation and investment, emphasizing the importance of financial and technical support |
Technical indicators | Water intake per unit of electrolytic aluminum ≤ 1.0 m³/t | Optimized to: 0.8 m³/t for electrolytic aluminum liquid, 1.1 m³/t for aluminum ingots for remelting, and a new deep purification water index of 2.0 m³/t |
By implementing a steam condensate recovery system and recycling process water, the plant achieved an annual water saving of approximately 500,000 tons, with the comprehensive leakage rate controlled below 6%.
Technical Dimension | Technical Indicator | Unit | Assessment Value |
---|---|---|---|
Water Intake | Electrolytic Aluminum Liquid | m³/t | 0.8 |
Reuse Rate | ≥96% | % | ≥96 |
As the country attaches great importance to the construction of ecological civilization and water conservation, the electrolytic aluminum industry, as a high water-consuming industry, urgently needs to achieve water-saving goals through technological upgrades and management optimization. The new version of the standard responds to policy requirements, combines industry practical experience and technological progress, and updates a number of assessment indicators.
