This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, re-inspection and supply technical conditions of high-strength steel solid welding wire, flux-cored welding wire and welding wire-flux combination for submerged arc welding. This standard applies to the classification of high-strength steel solid wires for submerged arc welding, and the classification requirements for wire-flux combinations with minimum tensile strength requirements not less than 590 MPa.
