Scope

This standard specifies the product type, size, tolerance, supply status, packaging, marking and quality certification of fusion welding consumables. This standard applies to welding materials such as welding rods, welding wires, filler wires, and welding strips. This standard does not apply to welding auxiliary materials, such as shielding gas, gaskets, etc.
