Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks, packaging, transportation, Storage and safety. This standard applies to No. 3 jet fuel for aviation turbine engines.

Special Requirements for Synthetic Fuel Components

Blended fuels containing FT-SPK or HEFA-SPK must meet the following additional requirements: aromatic volume fraction ≥ 8.0%, and a temperature difference between the 50% and 10% recovery points of the distillation range ≥ 15°C. See Appendix B/C for details.


Implementation Recommendations

  1. Manufacturers need to establish a traceability system for synthetic hydrocarbon components
  2. Testing laboratories should upgrade their sulfur content testing equipment to ultraviolet fluorescence
  3. Storage and transportation units need to update hazard labels in accordance with GB 30000.7-2013
