Guide for the validation of remote sensing products (English Version)
This standard is applicable to the universal authenticity inspection of remote sensing products, and specifies the inspection objects, reference objects, basic requirements, evaluation indicators and inspection methods.
Standard dimensions | GB/T 36296—2018 | ISO GUM 1995 | Other international standards |
---|---|---|---|
Inspection object | Remote sensing products to be inspected | Measurement system uncertainty | Not clearly specified |
Reference object | Measurement data, inspected products | Standard materials or models | User-defined reference |
Evaluation indicators | Accuracy (such as root mean square error) and uncertainty (such as standard deviation) | Measurement uncertainty | No clear requirements |
Remote sensing product authenticity verification technology has evolved from ground verification to model simulation, and then to spatiotemporal trend analysis.
Forward model simulation method evaluates its contribution to the actual results by inputting the remote sensing product to be tested into the tested model. This method further improves the inspection efficiency based on the cross-verification method and the spatial trend analysis method.
