- This standard specifies the transverse front and back bend tests, transverse side bend tests, longitudinal front and back bend tests, and pipe flattening test methods for welded joints of metal materials to test the plasticity and display defects on the tensile surface of the joints. This standard applies to fusion welded and pressure welded butt joints.
