Scope: This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for ordinary cold-rolled circular-section cylindrical helical compression springs. This standard applies to cold-rolled cylindrical helical compression springs with circular cross-sections (hereinafter referred to as springs), and the cross-sectional diameter of the spring material is greater than or equal to 0.5mm. This standard does not apply to springs with special properties.
