Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for ordinary cold-rolled circular-section cylindrical helical tension springs. This standard is applicable to cold-rolled round-section cylindrical helical tension springs (hereinafter referred to as springs), and the cross-sectional diameter of the spring material is greater than or equal to 0.5mm. This standard does not apply to springs with special properties.
