- This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of industrial dibutyl phthalate. This standard applies to dibutyl phthalate obtained by esterification of phthalic anhydride and n-butanol, which is mainly used in industries such as plastics, rubber, paints, lubricants, and emulsifiers.
