Scope: This standard specifies the method for measuring the magnetic properties of permanent magnet rubber such as remanence, coercive force and maximum energy product in a closed magnetic circuit. This standard applies to the determination of the magnetic properties of isotropic permanent magnetic rubber; it is also applicable to the determination of the magnetic properties of isotropic permanent magnetic rubber and plastic materials. Note: Refer to Appendix A for the measurement method of the surface magnetic flux density of magnetic rubber products at room temperature and after high and low temperature treatment.
