Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for medical tweezers (hereinafter referred to as tweezers). This standard applies to double-piece combination and single-piece folding medical forceps. This standard does not apply to medical tweezers such as stacked gill type, lock type, counter force type, and spring type.
