Inspection methods for environmental testing equipment Part 14: Electric vibration system for vibration (sinusoidal) testing (English Version)
This standard specifies the characteristics, measuring instruments, measurement uncertainty, inspection conditions and methods of the electrodynamic vibration system (hereinafter referred to as "vibration system") for vibration (sinusoidal) test, and is applicable to the inspection of the electrodynamic vibration system used in GB/T 2423.10.
Since its first release in 1985, this standard has undergone several revisions to adapt to the development needs of environmental test equipment technology. Compared with GB/T 5170.14-2009, the main technical changes include:
Version | Release Year | Main Changes | Scope of Application |
---|---|---|---|
GB/T 5170.14—2009 | 2009 | For the first time, the inspection requirements for electrodynamic vibration systems were clarified | Applicable to the inspection of rated parameters, acceleration amplitude, etc. |
GB/T 5170.14—2023 | 2023 | Optimized the definition of terms, added measurement uncertainty requirements, and deleted some inspection items that are no longer applicable | Applicable to all GB/T 2423.10 Vibration test equipment involved |
An electronic manufacturing company needs to inspect its newly purchased electric vibration table. According to the standard requirements, they first check the appearance and safety conditions of the equipment to ensure that it complies with the provisions of GB/T5170.1.
Then, a measurement system consisting of an accelerometer, a filter network amplifier and a dynamic signal analyzer is used to test the lateral vibration ratio of the vibration system. Select 6 octave points within the operating frequency range and vibrate at 50% of the maximum amplitude at each frequency.
On the dynamic signal analyzer, the acceleration time domain signals in three orthogonal directions are captured simultaneously, and the lateral vibration ratio (T) is calculated.
