Copper alloy seamless pipe for seawater desalination plant (English Version)
GB/T 23609-2023 "Copper alloy seamless pipes for seawater desalination equipment" is a comprehensive revision of the original standard GB/T 23609-2009, which mainly optimizes and improves the technical development and application needs in the field of seawater desalination.
Standard dimensions | Requirements of the 2009 edition | New requirements of the 2023 edition |
---|---|---|
Chemical composition | Conforms to the corresponding provisions of GB/T5231 | New grade BFe10-1.5-1 and its state |
Allowable deviation of outer diameter | ±0.08mm | The deviation of some specifications is relaxed to ±0.23mm |
Mechanical properties | Tensile strength not less than 340MPa | New tensile strength up to 480MPa |
GB/T23609-2023 clearly requires that the chemical composition of pipes must comply with the provisions of GB/T5121, and adds the BFe10-1.5-1 grade and its state. This change is mainly aimed at the higher requirements of seawater desalination equipment for material corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
The wall thickness tolerance of the pipe is ±10% of the nominal wall thickness, accurate to 0.01mm. When the minimum wall thickness is required, the wall thickness of any part should not be less than the specified value.
To ensure the effective implementation of the standard, it is recommended that:
