Permeable paving bricks and permeable paving flags (English Version)
GB/T 25993-2023 "Permeable Pavement Bricks and Permeable Road Slabs" national standard will be officially implemented on June 1, 2024, replacing the 2010 version of the standard. This standard specifies the product categories, grades, markings, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and stacking and transportation of permeable pavement bricks and permeable road slabs, and is applicable to the paving of municipal sidewalks, non-heavy-loaded squares, tree-lined paths and other places.
Dimensions | 2010 Edition | 2023 Edition |
---|---|---|
Terms and definitions | Covering multiple terms such as permeability and permeable blocks | Added a new definition of anti-slip and adjusted the expressions of core terms |
Classification method | Classification by shape and specification | Added the distinction between interlocking type and ordinary type |
Technical indicators | Including requirements such as permeability coefficient and flexural strength | Added new requirements for the thickness of the finishing layer and optimized mechanical performance indicators |
The materials used to make permeable pavement bricks and panels include cement, aggregates, pigments, etc., which must comply with relevant standards such as GB 175 and GB/T 2015. The production process can adopt sinter-free or sintering processes, focusing on environmental protection and sustainability.
Strict dimensional deviation requirements, the allowable deviation in the thickness direction shall not exceed ±2.0mm, and the appearance quality shall be free of obvious cracks and defects. The dimensional deviation of non-rectangular products can be agreed upon by both the supply and demand parties.
Flexural strength and splitting tensile strength are key indicators. The 2023 version of the standard adds special requirements for interlocking products to ensure their stability in complex road conditions.
