Technical safety specifications for cutting, grinding and finishing equipment for cleaning castings in foundry machinery (English Version)
As a supporting recommended standard for GB20905, this standard has established a safety technology system covering the entire process of design, manufacturing, and acceptance for 12 types of casting cleaning equipment, such as impact riser removal hammer and CNC cutting center. Through the triple risk control strategy of intrinsic safety design, protective measures, and use of information, the system controls seven major types of hazardous sources, such as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic.
Equipment type | Main hazard | Core protective measures | Verification method |
---|---|---|---|
Abrasive wheel cutting machine | Abrasive wheel fragment projection (Level 1.4 hazard) | Mandatory protective cover + anti-loosening device | Functional test + visual inspection |
Automatic cleaning unit | Robot extrusion and collision | Safety interlock + emergency stop device | PLr level verification |
Automatic cleaning unit | Robot extrusion and collision | Safety interlock + emergency stop device | PLr level verification | Spring Impact (Level 1.2 Danger) | Spacing ≥ 120mm + Warning Signs | GB/T12265 Measurement |
1. Dynamic Protection System: For automated equipment such as CNC Grinding Center, it is the first time that the safety protection device is required to achieve three-level interlocking with the control system and power system.
2. Deepening of Ergonomics: The GB/T15241.2 psychological load assessment standard is introduced, stipulating that the manual operation force threshold is ≤50N (continuous operation) or ≤100N (intermittent operation).
3. Vibration control: For vibration cleaning machines, the curvature radius of the cable suspension section is ≥4.5 times the outer diameter.
Manufacturers should focus on:
Users should note: Grinding wheel equipment must establish a debris inspection record, which should be kept for ≥3 years.
Compared with GB20905-2007, this version has the following major upgrades:
