Scope
Scope This document specifies the composition, functions, performance requirements and test methods of the Beidou dual-model OEM board (hereinafter referred to as the dual-model OEM board). This document is applicable to the design, production, procurement and testing of dual-model OEM boards with both Beidou positioning, navigation, timing and short message communication capabilities. OEM boards with only Beidou positioning, navigation, timing or short message communication capabilities are used for reference.
Introduction

1. Background and Overview of the Standard

This standard was proposed by the Equipment Development Department of the Central Military Commission and is under the jurisdiction of the National Beidou Satellite Navigation Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC544). It is applicable to the design, production, procurement and testing of dual-model OEM boards with both Beidou positioning, navigation and timing and short message communication capabilities. The standard drafting units include the 54th Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, etc.

3. Analysis of technical requirements

Dual-model OEM board consists of RF unit, baseband signal processing unit, data processing unit, etc., and must meet the following requirements:

  • Support multiple signal reception such as B1I, B3I, B1C, B2a
  • With short message communication function (regional/global)
  • Dynamic performance: maximum speed ≥515m/s, acceleration ≥40m/s²

4. Test conditions and equipment

The test must be carried out under standard atmospheric conditions:

  • Temperature range: 15°C~35°C
  • Humidity range: 25%~75%

The main test equipment includes:

  • Standard time source
  • Oscilloscope (bandwidth ≥ 500MHz)
  • Spectrum analyzer (frequency measurement range ≥ 3GHz)

5. Implementation suggestions

Hardware design:It is recommended to use MCX/SMA interface and ensure that the antenna impedance is 50Ω.

Software configuration:Follow the product specifications and set the appropriate signal level and working mode.

Test environment:It is recommended to perform performance testing in a microwave darkroom or simulator to ensure that electromagnetic interference does not affect the results.
