Introduction

Interpretation of the sea trial procedures for manned submersibles

h
Standard Dimensions GB/T 43120—2023 Requirements International Comparative Analysis
Test Conditions The safety of the sea trial area must be ensured, and the mother ship equipment must pass the departure inspection. In line with international standards, the importance of marine environmental investigation is emphasized.
Test Organization Including collaboration among multiple departments such as the test leader and technical support team. Focus on team division of labor and international cooperation experience.
Test phase The test is carried out in stages according to the depth. For submersibles with a design depth of no more than 3,000 meters, it is recommended to increase by 30%-50% each stage. Similar to the multi-stage test method in foreign countries, but more detailed.

Explanation of professional terms and practical application cases

Mother ship adaptability test: Ensure the functional and operational compatibility of the manned submersible with the mother ship. For example, during the deployment and recovery process, the deck equipment of the mother ship needs to perfectly match the connection device of the submersible.

Implementation suggestions

  1. Test preparation phase:
    • Strictly check the technical status of the manned submersible and the availability of the mother ship equipment.
    • Organize joint exercises among multiple departments to ensure that the teams work together.
  2. Test execution phase:
    • Perform the test in stages according to depth, and gradually verify the performance indicators of the submersible.
    • Real-time monitoring of the submersible's system status and recording of all operating data.
  3. Test summary and improvement:
    • Based on the test results, analyze the existing problems and put forward improvement suggestions.
    • Update the test plan and operation manual to ensure the safety and efficiency of subsequent tests.
