Scope
This part of GB/T38775 specifies the overall requirements, classification, interoperability requirements, communication requirements, environmental testing, safety requirements, structural requirements, material and component strength requirements, labeling and description requirements, etc. for electric vehicle wireless charging systems. This section applies to the static magnetic coupling wireless charging system of electric vehicles. The maximum rated voltage of the power supply is 1000V (AC) or 1500V (DC), and the maximum rated output voltage is 1000V (AC) or 1500V (DC).
Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

Technical dimensions Indoor equipment requirements Outdoor equipment requirements Test methods

Detailed explanation of key technical indicators

1. Power level classification

The standard divides the system into 7 power levels (MF-WPT1~7), among which MF-WPT3 and above require the use of three-phase power supply, and the highest power level MF-WPT7 corresponds to high-power application scenarios of >66kW.

2. Interoperability requirements

The realization of interoperability needs to meet three core conditions:

  1. Matched primary equipment and secondary equipment power levels
  2. Working air gap deviation is controlled within ±100mm (X/Y axis)
  3. System efficiency is ≥85% under rated conditions

Safety protection system

1. Electric shock protection

A three-level protection mechanism is adopted:

  • Basic protection: IPXXC shell protection
  • Fault protection: residual current device (RCD)
  • Additional protection: non-automatic reset circuit breaker

2. Thermal safety control

Temperature rise limit of key components:

  • Winding: H-class insulation ≤130K
  • Terminal: ≤35K
  • Contactable surface: metal ≤55℃/non-metal ≤65℃

Implementation suggestions

1. Equipment selection guide

Select the appropriate power level according to the application scenario:

  • Home charging: MF-WPT1(≤3.7kW)
  • Public charging pile: MF-WPT4(11.1~22kW)
  • Fast charging station: MF-WPT7(>66kW)

2. Installation precautions

Underground installation must ensure:

  1. Primary equipment IP67 and above protection
  2. Mechanical air gap ≥ 150mm
  3. Concrete cover thickness ≥ 100mm
