Technology Assessment Classification (English Version)
As the importance of scientific and technological innovation in the process of globalization becomes increasingly prominent, science and technology assessment, as an important means to optimize science and technology management and decision-making, has an urgent need for standardization. The introduction of GB/T 42776-2023 "Science and Technology Assessment Classification" fills the gap in the standardization system in the field of domestic science and technology assessment and provides a unified assessment classification standard for governments, enterprises and scientific research institutions.
Science and technology assessment classification adopts the face classification method, which is divided into two categories: basic classification and additional classification. The basic classification is centered on the type of assessment object, covering 15 categories from policy to technology; the additional classification is based on the attributes of the assessment activities, including scope, content, time nodes and other dimensions.
Classification dimensions | Basic classification | Additional classification | Code structure |
---|---|---|---|
Evaluation objects | 15 categories such as science and technology policies, plans, and programs | - | 2-digit code (01-99) |
Evaluation scope | - | Evaluation at international, national, departmental and other levels | 1-digit alphabetic identification code + 2-digit code |
Evaluation content | - | Multi-dimensional evaluation of goals, funds, conditions, etc. | 1-digit alphabetic identification code + 2-digit numeric code |
Term analysis:
Application case:
A provincial government commissioned a regional science and technology innovation assessment, using the GB/T 42776-2023 standard, and selected the two dimensions of scope (local level) and content (output, effect, impact) for classification. The evaluation results provide an important reference for optimizing the allocation of regional science and technology resources.
