Introduction

Core changes in the standard revision

Revision dimensions 2013 edition 2023 edition
Refrigerated truck classification Class 2 (mechanical/non-mechanical) Class 3 (newly added mechanical refrigeration and heating type)
Temperature recorder ±1℃ accuracy Biological products require ±0.5℃
Thermal insulation level Ungraded Advanced (R)/Ordinary (N)

Analysis of key technical requirements

1. Temperature monitoring system

The new regulations require that the driving temperature recorder must:

  • be independent of the temperature control system and be securely fixed
  • Biological product transport vehicles must have over-temperature sound and light alarms
  • Data storage ≥3 months and tamper-proof
  • Dual power supply (backup power supply ≥8 hours)

2. Carriage performance indicators

Typical case: A certain brand of multi-temperature refrigerated truck uses polyurethane foam material with a K value of ≤0.4W/(m²·℃), which saves 30% more energy than ordinary materials

Parameters Requirements
Air leakage multiple S>≤3.0h⁻¹ at 40m²
Total heat transfer coefficient Advanced thermal insulation≤0.4W/(m²·℃)

Classification system for new refrigerated trucks

Mechanical refrigeration and heating type

12 new subclasses (AL) are added, and the ambient temperature adaptability range is expanded to -40℃~30℃ to meet the transportation needs of special items such as vaccines

Technical specifications for multiple temperature zones

  • Each refrigeration unit needs to be independently temperature controlled
  • The calculation of heat transfer area needs to include the partition structure
  • The number of temperature sensors is linked to the volume (20m³/piece)

Safety protection upgrade

Liquefied gas refrigerated trucks must be equipped with:

  1. Dual-point oxygen content monitoring (<19.5% alarm)
  2. Single container volume ≤450L
  3. Gate valve linkage cut-off device
  4. Pressure gauge protection cover

Implementation suggestions

Manufacturers should focus on improving:

  • Redundant design of temperature recording system
  • Use environmentally friendly insulation materials (HCFC-141b foaming agent is prohibited)
  • Strengthen the rigidity of the compartment structure (deformation ≤300mm)
