GB/T 5758-2023 mainly specifies the determination methods of particle size, effective particle size and uniformity coefficient of ion exchange resins, and is applicable to spherical and powdered ion exchange resins. Compared with the 2001 version, the new standard adds the definition and test method of average particle size, and introduces laser diffraction method as a supplement.
Ion exchange resins are widely used in water treatment, chemical industry and other fields, and their performance is closely related to particle size distribution. Accurate determination of particle size parameters is crucial to ensure product quality and application effect.
