Determination of hydrocarbon impurities in propylene for industrial use by gas chromatography (English Version)
GB/T3392-2023 "Gas Chromatographic Method for the Determination of Hydrocarbon Impurities in Industrial Propylene" is an important update of the national standard, replacing the previous GB/T3392-2003 version. This standard mainly stipulates the use of gas chromatography to detect hydrocarbon impurities in industrial propylene, including methane, ethane, ethylene and other components.
Since its first release in 1982, this standard has undergone several revisions to meet the needs of industrial development. This revision mainly focuses on the improvement of detection technology and the optimization of methods, especially reducing the detection limit of various hydrocarbon impurities, and adding quality assurance and control chapters.
Project | GB/T3392—2003 | GB/T3392—2023 |
---|---|---|
Detection limit | ≥1 mL/m³ | ≤1 mL/m³ (partial indicators) |
Chromatographic column requirements | Specific parameters are not specified | Detailed provisions of chromatographic column parameters and operating conditions (see Table 1) |
Detection method | Single gas chromatography method | Introduction of correction area normalization method and external standard method |
Corrected area normalization method:This method calculates the impurity content by the peak area ratio of the standard sample and the test sample. It is suitable for quantitative analysis of known impurity components.
External standard method:It uses external standards for quantitative analysis. It is easy to operate but relies on accurate standard samples.
