Scope

This standard is applicable to the corrosion test of metal materials (including ferrous and non-ferrous metals) in surface seawater (seawater depth within 10m) under the conditions of full immersion, tidal range and splash. General procedures to be followed for seawater corrosion tests to unify test conditions and evaluation indicators.
