Introduction

1. Background of Standard Formulation and Technical Evolution

This standard is managed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development. After extensive investigation and research, summarizing practical experience, and referring to international and foreign advanced standards, the drafting team finally formed the "Urban Ecological Space Planning and Environmental Protection Standard". This standard aims to guide the environmental object planning and special planning work at the level of urban master planning.

2. Comparison of standard frameworks

Standard dimensions Urban ecological space Urban environmental protection
Core content Evaluation of the importance of ecological functions, ecological protection red lines, ecological control lines Water environment, atmospheric environment, acoustic environment and solid waste treatment
Planning scope Urban area, urban planning area or urban development boundary Nearshore waters, drinking water source protection areas
Implementation requirements Build an ecological security pattern and clarify the scope of protection and restoration Optimize infrastructure layout and propose emission reduction and pollution prevention measures

3. Implementation suggestions

Case analysis: Taking sponge city construction as an example, the delineation of ecological control lines needs to be fully connected with drainage and flood control planning. By repairing damaged water bodies, coastlines and waterfront spaces, the city's flood control and drainage capabilities can be improved.
